Achieves Highest Record Number of New Store Openings Worldwide and Now Has over 700 Stores
Company Aims To Reach 1,000 Stores Across GCC and Australia in Three Years
Galadari Ice Cream Company (GICC), master franchisee for Baskin-Robbins in the Middle East, and part of Galadari Brothers group, joint venture partner for Baskin-Robbins in Australia, was awarded the prestigious “Developer of the Year” Award 2014 from Dunkin’ Brands for achieving the highest record number for New Store Openings in 2013.
Dunkin’ Brands Chairman and CEO Nigel Travis presented the award to Khaled Soliman, Galadari Brothers Group (GBG) CEO and Abdulmonem Suliman, GICC Acting General Manager in a ceremony that was held in Dubai and attended by GBG and DBI key executives and staff.

In just one year, GICC managed to open 81 new stores, which in itself is a true record for any quick service chain. GICC is well known for hitting world records throughout the years with other examples such as achieving exceptional world record sales in key stores across the Middle East such as the stores in Mall of the Emirates (Dubai) and Mirdif City Center (Dubai).

GICC started its first store in Satwa, Dubai, and now is the largest network of QSR chain in the region. A highly detailed team is responsible for the store developments which present the most updated store designs matching the Dunkin’ Brands standards and requirements. GICC has established a range of Baskin-Robbins store sizes and concepts that adapt to each country’s needs and demands.
Now the Group has over 750 stores across the Middle East Region and Australia with close to 700 stores in the Middle East region alone. It is also the sole franchisor for Dunkin’ Donuts in Qatar.
The group currently operates its stores across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Australia.
